343 Industries released a massive update for Halo: The Master Chief Collection this week, patching the entire Halo series to add Xbox One X ultra HD 4K and HDR support, as well as to fix a variety of long-standing issues.

The latest update, which will automatically begin downloading the next time you log in to MCC, is the culmination of months of work by the team at 343 in close partnership with the MCC Insider community. Together, via extensive player feedback and public flighting, they've worked tirelessly to bring us these new features and improvements to MCC, all of which can now be enjoyed and experienced with Xbox Game Pass.

Weighing in at a hefty73GB, the first major update for Halo: The Master Chief Collection includes a variety of brand new features available to everyone who owns a copy of MCC (or acquires it via Xbox Game Pass).
