Konami announced today that Zone of the Enders HD Collection is now available for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.


Developed by Kojima Productions, Zone of the Enders HD Collection will include fan favorites Zone of the Enders and the European special edition version of its sequel Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner.

Both versions of the HD Collection include a demo of one of the most anticipated action titles of next year, METAL GEAR RISING: REVENGEANCE. The Limited Edition bundle also includes an import "ReMIX SELECTION" soundtrack disc, an 8 1/2" x 11" 100-page art book featuring classic and never-before-seen artwork from famed game artist Yoji Shinkawa, and special gold metallic packaging.

Zone of the Enders HD Collection includes stunningly up-resed and remastered versions of two groundbreaking games for the PlayStation 2, Zone of the Enders (2001) and the European special edition version of Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner (2003). The inclusion of the European special edition version of Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner introduces new content to North American fans in the form of a new difficulty level, new missions, and more.

The essential Zone of the Enders series features thrilling robot fights in a futuristic interplanetary setting. Players experience high-flying robot combat as they grab enemies, unleash a whirlwind of blade strikes and fire off guns from a distance, all while spiraling freely in open air. Partnering with legendary animation house Sunrise, Zone of the Enders HD Collection also includes a brand new opening animation, as well as fully up-resed renders of the opening animations from the original games.

Zone of the Enders HD is rated M for Mature by the ESRB and is now available nationwide for a suggested retail price of $39.99 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
