Phosphor Games Studios has released the debut "Awakened" First Look Trailer. Developed by former Midway Chicago members, "Awakened" is a very innovative 3rd person action-adventure title for next-gen consoles.

Phosphor Games Studio project builds on our experience and lessons learned from past projects and expands on all the best features that made past work so interesting.

"Awakened" is the new title of a previously unfinished game developed by the guys over at Midway Chicago before the studios closure. Originally named "Hero", the original title was an open-world superhero game that began production in 2006, but the team had to start over with nothing and has no access to their old code.

Once Warner Bros. had bought Midway's assets, the team was left with nothing. "We just totally started over," Sineni says. "We don't have any connection to the old codebase, story, assets, whatever. What we have is the very cool idea that create-a-player is this really awesome opportunity to change your character and your abilities to whatever you want them to be."
