ShALLaX released a new version of Gentoox Sparkle, Resctoox, Gentoox Pro and Gentoox Home.

I've tested Home v5.0, Pro v3.0, Sparkle v2.0 and Resctoox v4.0 under E: installations only (I do not have an available hard drive with enough capacity to test F: or native installations). Under these conditions, they appear to work fine. I'm not at all happy with the loopback filesystem performance, though. For this reason I am only considering these intermediate releases. They are just being released as a "catch-up" to the latest releases of available software (most notably Linux v2.4.32). Once I have upgraded all of my systems to this latest kernel I can start looking at other more recent filesystems such as XFS and JFS which were not present in the Linux v2.4.22, which was supplied with older versions of Gentoox.

The Pro download is considerably smaller after removing a lot of orphaned packages while the Home download remains at around the 800MB mark. Both still fit on a CD, so no DVD media is required! The total upload size I have to get through is 1.0GiB so it may be a while until you see the releases. Keep watching this space!
