Open Architecture
DreamixDX is powered by our Linux-based open source multimedia operating system, Dreamix Embedded. DE's open architecture and module system add to the software's scalability and allows for third-party developers to create add-on applications to enhance the current DreamixDX system. As applications are completed they are added to DX Center, our software library, which can be accessed through your television and navigated with remote control, or accessed through a standard PC web browser. Through the use of DX Center, users have control over the growth and feel of their system. To assist in the development of third-party applications, Dreamix provides developers with a software development kit (SDK), allowing for ease of application integration into the DreamixDX architecture.
