We are doing some last minute testing to the latest bios and so far everything is looking good. It's currently at build 2666 so as you can see there have been a massive amount of enhancements. Instead of teasing we will reveal the new features to you right now. The build number may change slightly when we release which will be as soon as we can. The X3 Config Live Bios / OS / whatever you want to call it is the world's most complete and most advanced bios available for the Xbox. Nothing is as powerful or as feature packed and at no time has anyone come so close to offering so much all in one bios release.

As you can see some massive additions here - let's go a little more in depth so you can see just how superb some of these features are.

First let's look at the Xecuter Install Command System (XICS)*

XICS is the flagship feature of this bios release. It revolutionizes the way any Xbox is setup or upgraded and can be easily used by first time hobbyists right up to experienced installers. The system uses a simple scripting service which can be run from USB pen drive (FAT32 or FAT 16 supported!), Hard Drive, HTTP (both local and online), CD/DVD Media (standard iSO9660 supported!). Just imagine being able to run a script that automatically flashed your bios, format and partitioned your hard drives, installed your dashboard, setup all your apps, setup your network, lock your hard drive and reboot - completely automated and without having to lift a finger. Also think how easy it will be to share scripts with other users - no more setup problems or trawling through support forums looking for answers when all you will need is a script to do the job automatically for you. This is just the beginning, now we have the backbone of the system in place there are going to be far more additions in the near future. Take a look at the current list of commands along with a few examples - the possibilities are only limited to your imagination.

As you can see we have been very busy. Now let's move on and take a look at the Xecuter Advanced Skinning Control (XASC)**

We admit that the default front end of X3 Config Live isn't the prettiest in the world, however we have managed to spend a little time on a very fast and powerful skinning system. In fact we can say its the most feature packed skinning system available for any bios, not only can you take complete control of positions and colors of all objects and of course BMP files as backgrounds and fonts can be customized simply by specifying TTF files, but you also have the ability to download skin packs directly to your X3 from an online server as zip files and they will be downloaded and unzipped automatically giving you an automated menu listing of many many choices of skins which change and update the absolute moment they are selected. You can also customize where your X3 will search online for skin packs so you can be sure there will be many X3 Skin Packs hubs throughout the world and you will soon be able to share hundreds of skins with the worldwide community.

We think the rest of the changelog is pretty self explanatory, however I am sure you will get any answers you require on our forums. We have many more features in progress and will endeavour to continue to bring you a bios that gives you everything you want. There simply is no competition.
