Ok first of course you have to download your bios for whatever xbox version you have. When you download the bios file that you need, if it is in zip format you will have to unzip it, it it in in a rar file then you will have to use extract to aquire the needed folder.
Once you have that find a dummy file to use i used one with 50mb , it can be whatever file you want just make sure to rename it as zzz.zzz for example.
Now is the tricky part:
Once your bios is in the correct format you will have to rename it as bios.bin, but when you rename it dont type in bios.bin otherwise when you try to burn the image it will come up as bios.bin.bin this will confuse your xbox this is the reason why alot of people are getting the no bios found halting prompt. The trick here is to simply rename it bios , and when you transfer the file to your burn program ( i used nero version 5 ) it will automatically rename it bios.bin for you.
Now just simply add your 50mb dummy file and brun the image at a slow speed ( i prefer 1x-4x maximum ) if you burn the iso image too fast it will corrupt your disk . if you need a manual on how to install the spider chip or how to flash the spider chip go to the website below you can download the manuals there.
Well, this helped me to finally flash my spider chip after 3 days of trying different disks and burners and i hope it will help you with your problem , and i want to give a shout out to all the xbox-hq memebers you guys are really helpful to anyone who has questions i have joined other xbox mod sites and no one takes better care of you than all the peeps of xbox-hq.
