Yeah man you can delete the eeprom.

There is an eeprom chip on the mobo but thares a file of the eeprom on the hddand you can delete that.

If you delete the eeprom the one way to fix it is to chip the xbox.

hey its me again!, i have been able to connect my xbox hdd to xplorer360 and hotswap, now i would like to know what files to add in the partitions to have the default factory hdd setttings, ( i have a 80 gb hdd ) i have 5 partitions 0-1-2 are empty, in the 3rd partition ( wich is suposed to be the c folder ) i have xboxdash.xbe, xbox book.xtf , xbox.xtf an audi folder, a font folder, a folder called xboxdata.185EAD00, and the folder xodash, in the 4th partition ( wich is suposed to be my d drive accordingly to some tutorial )
i have a cache, tdata, and udata folder, wich are all empty

You can't have a D:\ drive cuz thats the DVD drive. You need to put that stufff in the E:\.

Cache, tdata, and udata folders go in the E drive man D drive wold be your DVD drive.

Do you have your eeprom code?

C drive wold be:
Folders> Audio, Fonts, Xboxdashdata, xboxdash

actually im not sure wich partition is the e drive,, all i know is th at i have 5 partitions.. and no, i dont have my eeprom key

The mobo will not use the hdd without the eeprom on it.

then why i can play games and why i can see the ms dashboard for like 0.1 second between each reboots ( my xbox keeps rebooting now )

Well if its playing game you must have the eeprom on the hdd.

It wold be a good idea to back up your eeprom .

If you can launch a game then get auto installer deluxe and its rebooting cuz your ms dash is mucked up.

Well since you dont have your info filled out im going to guess you installed a softmod, with a soft mod the eeprom can be found in E drive in the backup folder, its eeprom.bin or something like that.
