ok, i will try not to be a total newb P.I.T.A...... but its not going to work.... cuz everyone loves it when we ask the same questions over and over..... and i have read manuals, tutorials, and miscellanious other stuff... some of it seems outdated, its all kind of confusing.... so.....
at least ill try to make it clear as a bell......
i have a virgin xbox, and have aquired AID 4.1.
i DO NOT have a memory card. (i realize i may need to get one regaurdless... but hoping theres a workaround)
i have a 250gb new hard drive to pop the virgins cherry with.
i have a Xecuter2 chipped box that i run XBMC as dash on.
MY GOAL: softmod my virgin xbox with XBMC on a 250gb harddrive in the easiest, cleanest, quickest way possible.
i want to keep the ABILITY to boot the oem MS dash, for the UNLIKELY EVENT that i, or someone else wants to do the xbox live thing.
question 1: if im understanding correctly, the AID disc that i burn will not boot up in a virgin box, correct?
Question 2: is there a workaround to NOT having a memory card to get SID installed???
Question 3: ummm.... can one of you EXPERTS.... hold my hand here?? hah. kidding. but seriously.... is there anyway i can just copy shit to the new hard drive, and stick tha f**kin thing in the virgin box??? are there some "barney style" turorials that i missed maybe???

!. Get 007, mechassult, or splinter cell
2. get the softmod save files from aid and out them on an xbox mem card.
3. Put the save files from the card to the xbox hdd and put in the game.
i can walk you through step by step if you really need so or cant understand one of those above.
