sorry guys like i said i'm a complete noob. O.K. i have all of the hardware installed and it works fine the problem is i don't know how to get or install the software i need.starting with flashing my BIOS or what ever i need to do .

ahh well for now go download the Auto Installer Deluxe as you will want that after someone tells you how to flash your chip. we will also need to know what version xbox you have so you get the right bios. i don't know about your chip or the bios for it, so someone else will need to chime in

I would use the Xecuter2 4983 bios. You can either get it from the VIP downloads here and burn a disc or you can ftp into the xbox. Then use AID. _________________

AID will do that for you. Just select format drive and use the Larger drive to format _________________

I have never been one to just give someone manual links and say read them, but in your case you really should. You should have known all of this before installing your mod chip.
The manual for the installer will give you great insight on how to use it. The installer will format your HD if needed, prepare your E drive, install your dashboard, install your applications...everything. It does everything.
Also, you need to handle flashing your mod chip if not already, because you will not be able to do anything really until that is done.
Here is a little Xenium Ice guide to get you cranking. It was the very first one I ever used and will get you through flashing.

ive got a xecuter 2.6 ce solderless on a V1.1 box with stock HDD and DVDROM. ive downloaded slayer autoinstaller. is this gonna work with my chip?
ive got a bad case of information overload atm. some simple advice would be greatly appreciated.
