Hi Im new to Xbox Hq! And i got a new xbox that i bought in [july 24 2005] and i dont kno if my xbox version is 1.6 or higher! I tried to soft mod before and I messed up that box and hopefully im gonna get it rite this time around!

My old one is broken into pieces and yes my xbox is higher then 1.6

lol no i got madd and chucked it around in my room and there many dents in my wall from the motherboard!!lol joking i can put it back together but i ripped out the EEPROM chip ! but anyways can anyone help e softmod i got action replay, splinter cell and wut else do i need??

Ok, now go to the 'Useful Links' thread and download the Sid installer and the S.C. gamesave of your choice (SID 3.1, 4.0, or 4.5 Nknave Edition). Make sure that you choose the right format for your tv NTSC (USA) or PAL (Just about everywhere else).
Then you take the (gamesave).zip files and drag them to the "Memory Card" column in your A.R. window( with the A.R. connected to your computer.)
Now Move the memory card to your Xbox. Go to the Memory section and copy the gamesaves to the HDD. Run your exploitable game and choose the Softmod gamesave (Linux), and run the Softmod! _________________ I think I like fixing Boxes more than using them!

It seems a bit wordy, but has all you should need to know (and more) for a well informed installation.

YEah i have that Tut from download SID 4.5! and before i softmod can u tell me wut the ip for the xbox to FTP it and where can i download game to transfer on to my xbox! _________________ Xbox Version 1.6b REDLED
Or, there are people running around with links in their sig.
I thought you had Splinter Cell and an Action Replay? Why do you need to FTP? (you can only FTP into a Modded Xbox) _________________ I think I like fixing Boxes more than using them!

you can put games by putting the actual games from your orgianls you own then to hd ... ftping games and movies that you owen takes forever...
