Hey people,
I'm soo new to this xbox modding thing i need some help. First thing is i have the softmod files and i already got it up, and installed the softmod but the option is still in the menu.
Secondly what files do i need to include in AID iso. (auto installer deluxe 2.11) the unpdate files to be specific.
THANX...i have more questions but i need this first thanx again

okay.....i also have another question...i think i overlapped the softmod install so is there a way to start over again
THANX i need this fast.....i only have 7 days till i need to return the game
By the way....when i tried burning the disc it didn't work is it because of my dvd reader in the xbox i think it samsung

Hi monkeymania,
Just take it slow mate.. Even if you have to rehire the game etc etc until you get it right..
Heres a link to a tutorial which i wrote which will help you install a softmod onto any xbox using MECH ASSAULT, SPLINTER CELL etc..

i don't want to be rude...but one part of ur tutorial didn't make much sence. So do u install softmod, then a dashboard...then put in AIB v2.11

Is it also possible to play burnt games...and what type of disc is needed...cause my dvdrom is like a samsung....which is said that it can't read it. Because i burned AID to dvd+R and it didn't work

You need to complete the softmod before your xbox can load AID. Have you made a backup of the m$dash and installed EvoX? _________________ Xenium Ice 2.3.1 OS

okay...so i install the softmod, then the dash board of either evox or xunleash....then load the AID
But before when i installed the softmod...the option is still there after i do it...is that normal?
Also for the AID what update files do i include......i have the aid 2.11

Thats fine.. The AIDeluxe was originall designed for modchip users but since softmodding became so popular DJB also added the softmod installer section..
As long as you have AID2.11 you should be fine.. That is the latest version

Hey, i've tried cheap CD-R and it works with my Samsung. But my DVD+R don't. IT was EXPENSIVE and i wasted it. Do u know what brands are best for Samsung drive from 2002 december? thanx in advance

I have found that Memored DVD-R work every time for me. I also burn at 2x when possible. I have softmodded 5 xboxes and every one will accept the Memorex DVD-R disc's. They cost about 15 - 20 bucks for 30 of them sometimes on sale you can pick them up really cheap. _________________ Xbox Ver. 1.4
