Yeah you got to solder 2 points on the mobo to unlock the BIOS chip so it was trying to unlock a door with no key.
Skip the endure bro and back up the eeprom with SID 5 or the AID boot disk.

All good, the best part is if it works for you all it takes is 2 drops of solder and the AID Disk since its already softmodded.

lol, I was gone trying to figure out the ndure thing i didn't even notice ya'll had posted again.
i don't know where i was backing up to before but once i moved eeprom to E/ it was all there. i almost freaked for a second, i have my xbox, my sons, and my brothers and bought 3 bigger HDDs to surprize them with the up grades and when i couldn't find the eeprom at first... well you get the idea. so now all i need is the .bin file in the eeprom folder in linux right?
You need the eeprom in the folder and the MS dash in the C folder, if the xbox is not a ver. 1.6 i would use chimp to do the HDD upgrades.
I did one last night with chimp and it works like a charm.

If the xbox you are upgrading is NOT a 1.6 i would use chimp 2.4 to upgrade the HDD, works like a charm.
