Hello John , Sounds like you having as much fun with your soft mod as I am with my MOD CHIP by the end of the month I reckon on having had nearly all error codes possible.

Id go with option 1 or 3. Just make sure you have the right version of mech assault and everything will go smoothly I highly recomend going with unleash x as your dash. Its got a ton of features and is still reported. _________________

the unleash x goes on after the xbox is modded like an update? or is it part of the softmod?

If your useing the sid installer it will ask if you want to use unleash or evox during the install.

looks like the right version. unleash x and evox are dashboards. kinda like an os for your xbox. evox is an older dashboard and lacks many importan features. Mainly the built in music player and file explorer. _________________

alright then i have the correct game and i think i have the right softmod what am i doing wrong?
i load the 2 files on the AR card
Make sure theres no other installer/loader of any kind then load the 2 files on to the xbox hard drive
Open up the tray and then put in the mechassualt disk
Open up the linux installer through the game and then blank screen orange light

have you upgraded the ms dash? pop in a newer game disk with xbox live play. disconnect your network cable and go to the xbox live option on the game. It'll upgrade your MS dash. Then try running the softmod installer. _________________
