enable network flash
loadbios from c:\bios
loadbios from disc
unlock hdd
lock hdd
I am not going to touch it

exellent, now were getting somewhere, so it maybe that your bios is corrupt, now you gotta flash a new bios, and bioses do go corrupt from time to time, it happens when ever with out warning. _________________

I would recommend the X3 3294 bios, as it was designed specifically for this chip. _________________

o see and I remeber doing this before long time ago when I frist setup my drive. what do I do just donwload it burn it to a cdrw and do it that way?

ok is there a good place to find that bios I googled it and even found that there was a new one just release today infact I think but the only place I found it was a torrent download and it is going at 1.5 k at an hour for 3.5 megs although I am dumping games to the softmodded one through my router I hope this works.

I am new to the aid as well but yes I did download it and there are a whole lot in the bios cd dri I assume it is 1mb.x3.3294.v16plus the one I want?

this one is a 1.6 yes i am makeing the cd nowI am the xbox and this window in picture in picture I hope this is the ticket. Does a softmod in anyway change the bios?

ok so I unrared the bios I then loaded the iso image in nero burned the cd just like aid and any other iso put it in the drive and the xbox said there was no bios updat and haulted
