dvix is already supported by XBMC- the xbox media centre. It is available on AID, and I HIGHLY recommend installing it, as I use it all the time. It allows you to network with windows network and play streaming media across your home network. XBMC is something that I have, yet rarely enjoy. I need to get more acquainted with this app. I have only used it to play divx and mp3 files.
I have a media centger PC and wireless networking, albeit the Xbox is close enough to use a network cable. To what extent can I stream? I use my PC to record some of my TV shows and such. Would I be able to stream those? That would be very cool.
Are there any decent tutorials out there to get these tasks done? Like I said, haven't used XBMC much at all. _________________ Xbox 1.4

Depends on what format your saving your shows in. I use ATI media centre and save my videos as AVI, and they stream perfectly.
I actually use a program ccxgui, a program that create an SMB server(since I've disabled windows networking). All I have to do is share the folder from this app, go to my xbmc, choose: videos->network->smb share(auto detect), and it detects my comp, and has directory for each of the shared folders from my comp. Incrdibly easy, and a great way to leave all your audio(mp3 streaming as well) and video files without taking up xbox hdd space or precious media(dvd's) _________________ Hotswap|HDD Upgrade|X3 Guide
