there you go the real one is in E/udata
sid 4 patches eeprom to secure protection ... for newbies so they wont try to unlock or nuke your box and making it paper weight... watch if you try to run configmagic it wont run it ...
but yea just put the hd back in and go to 3) and unlockhd -a and throw that cd and make a new one but this tme with its real eeprom.bin from E/udata _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition

But I used that one and it still gave me the error 06. Should I put all the files in that folder in the eeprom folder? There is the bios.bin, eeprom.bin, hddkey.bin, and the disk.bin. Should I put them all in there?

no you only need eeprom.bin but right now you got to remember if you transferd the one from E/backup/eeprom.bin or the E/udata/215/00000/backup/eeprom.bin
but the real one is always the one inthe e/udata not e/backup .... and this is sid 4.0 right ? _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition

I have done them both and got the very same results. It is SID 4.5 as well.

[quote="gus738"]to get the rest of space just go to file manager/explore and highlight F and G and formate them. takes 1 sec , you dont need to unmount anyting to formate these .... if you do not have unleash x and choose evox then run aid and just use its file explore as well and same procedure.
toinevr
I went into evox and its set to YES G and F drive .
I then went into AID and use the file manager , formattede the F drive , but the option to format G drive is not there but i cant pick it ...
It didnt help .
C 492mb

E 4,493mb
F 123,408 mb
G 63,393mb

I don't know what else to do. If anyone has any suggestions, feel free to toss them my way.....I'm at a loss.
By the way, my xbox is a ver. 1.6 if that has anything to do with it.
Ok, something I noticed. I looked in the hddinfo.txt file, just out of curiosity. Thing is, the key stored in that file is completely different from the key that XboxHD Maker is saying that it is using. So, are those keys supposed to be the same? If so, why are they different, and how do I fix that?

Ok. After much anger and frustration I have FINALLY swapped my HDD for my xbox. I am not sure but I believe it was my dash....EvoX that was causing me all the troubles. I went back, rebacked up everything, and remodded everything this time using unleashx as the dash, and this time it worked like a charm with the minor exception of lost disc space the same as Mike. I say minor because of the hell I went through to get this done.
Thx for all the help.

06 means the xbox is not unlocking the drive at boot. What I did was go back to the beginning, and backed up everything again, and REmodded my xbox, then FTPed the xbox all over again, and recreated the linux disc. I just started all over....try that.

heres a hint If you have SID 4.5 the eeprom in the backup folder is fake, the real location of the eeprom.bin is in E:\UDATA\21585554\000000000000\ _________________
