Personally i think its your action replay..
I remember DJB mentioning something to me about the latest action replays how they wont accept hacked gamesaves.. Ill email djb now to see if he can reply to this topic for you and confirm this.
Im hoping this is not the case but if it is you may have to find another way to get your gamesaves over.. You could use another modded xbox or buy some more equipment.. If worse comes to worse you could just pay another member here to send you a memory card with everything on it ready to go.

The problem isn't with the Action Replay hardware itself, it's the memory card that Action Replay give you with it. I suggest getting an offical Xbox memory card, I know they work fine.

blihgty: yes i can. i would use the action replay usb device but instead of inserting action replay memory card in it i would insert the ms memory card
and damn it i already bought mech assualt...
when i try SID2 or SID3 with it comes up a green text that says i should call cutomer support...
oh well i guess i will just have 2 get a ms memory card then...

well... now ive bought a ms memory but when i insert it in my action replay usb thing the memory card dosnt come up in the window... with other words action replay dosnt seem 2 recognize this memory card... _________________ add my msn darkspanishmaster@hotmail.com

Have you tried the memory card that came with AR for Mechassault? I used the Mechassault hack and it worked fine. You haven't got the Gameshark exploits mixed up with the AR ones I doubt it would make a difference. Just a thought because they are on AID also. Don't panic your X-box still works it took myself along time to get it all straight and it is worth it.

OK here is a silly question but you said you got the Splinter cell exploits on the memory card and now it doesn't seem to except anything (if I'm reading your posts correctly). Did you erase the Splinter Cell Exploit from the memory card? Also I had problems with my USB ports when I was doing this have you tried a different port (if you have more then one). Also reinstall the software or use an older version which I believe is located on this site. I used a Gameshark dongle with memory card and that was difficult AR is supposed to be the way to go. I'm sure it is something silly causing your problem. _________________ I believe V1.0

and yes i erased the splinter cell gamesaves befor trying with mechassult
the thing u said about trying on diffrent usb ports well i will try that now

nah i wont buy a chip... not now when ive bought all this stuff...
i found out something... when i in sert my AR memory card into the usb device (or whatsoever its called) i can drag and drop files inside the AR software program but if i insert my 16mb official xbox memory card it dosnt show up in the AR software but it shows up as (L moveable disk... but if i open the L: directory to put the MA gamesave n the it says: the disk L is not formated. would u like to formate it now? if i press yes i can put the MA gamesave there, but when i then insert it in my xbox controller the xbox says: MEMORY UNIT 1A the memory unit you inserted isn't working correctly. It has been erased. and the gamesave is no longer on it now when i put it back in my pc and open it the pc says again: the disk L is not formated. would u like to formate it now?.... what am i doing wrong?? _________________ add my msn darkspanishmaster@hotmail.com
