I was at this guys house and happened to mention my xsoftmod, he told me that his buddy that works with him had burnd out one of the chips on the xb to read anything he puts in there...I quickly said "so you can put a official ps2 game in and it will play. he says yes the chip he burnd out is the one that controls what it reacts to and reads.....
I thought that sounded a bit like major BS......
whats your opinion?

Its BS. There is no chip no\r will there ever be a chip that will allow the xbox to read PS/2 games. The hardware between the 2 is completely different.

Tell him to tell his coworker you want one youll even pay up to 1000 bucks he dont show up you know it aint true.
My guess is you dont want to hold your breath waiting for him to bring the chip

Ive seen a dude on the internet that put a xbox and a ps2 motherboard and interlinked them somehow, and he could play xbox and ps2 games. _________________

whats even odder is that what i gather from what they posted is....its not a chip you install to make it do this....its a chip already in the xbox that apparently controls what it can read....that they "burned out"....so it would essentially play anything since it can no longer tell..... _________________
