I have a softmodded xbox w/ evox, i was trying to apply a thc lite skin, and i used hexbe to patch the "xboxdash.xbe" and now when i turn on my xbox it goes straight to the error 13 message. Any one know how to fix this??? i have a back up of my xboxdash.xbe, but it wont let me ftp anymore. Is there some kind of boot-up disk i could make that would restore it to its default settings? any help would be appreciated.

omg i love you dangermouse, i just got finished re-installing the exploit, and everything is back to normal, thanks again, i never even thought of booting from the game again

No problem
Be sure to make a backup of your eeprom. That is your life saver. Once you get eveything setup, ftp your c: and e: partitions....and eeprom.. to your pc. Back ups are always a good thing to have.

yeah i already have my eeprom c: e: and f: all backed up to my comp. i usually always back everything up

If you are a constant "Tinker-er", as I am , I would reccomend downloading HDM 1.9 and making an .iso(disk) with your backups in it. That way if you ever make a big mistake and can't fix it easily, you can just unlock, restore, and then relock your HDD. Then it's back to your current config in about 20 min.
Keep in mind that this may take a fair bit of homework for a newbie, but in my opinion, If you will use it, it's worth the effort!
It's just a thought. _________________ I think I like fixing Boxes more than using them!

thanks lee337, yeah i already know how to make an iso disk, i did my research long ago when upgrading my hdd, i just used dvd decrypter to make an iso of all my backup stuff
