need as much info from you as possible..
- what windows are you running? 95/98/ME/2k/XP/NT?
- what type of internet connection are you using? modem/cable/satellite
- are you connected via a router?
do this so we know your network setup:
1. Click on 'Start Button'
2. Click on 'Run'
3. Type 'cmd' in windows nt/2k/xp or 'command' in 95/98/me
4. type 'ipconfig /all' then press enter
5. Let us know your config.

ok..
Can you do this for me..
1. Go 'Start"
2. Select 'Control Panel'
3. Then choose 'Network Connections'
4. Choose Network Setup Wizard
5. Then click 'NEXT>>' then 'NEXT>>' to get to the selection screen
6. Choose the top option 'this computer connects directly to the internet. The other computers on my network connect to the Internet through this computer' and click 'NEXT>>'
7. Now it will ask your which adapter connect to the internet.. Choose your ADAPTER A.
8. Now just finish the wizard by clicking 'NEXT>>' then finish.
9. You will have to restart your computer.
Ok.. Once you have done this you will find INTERNET CONNECT SHARING OPTIONS (ICS) under the properties of your NETWORK ADAPTER A Properties.
So to find these do this.
1. Right click your Network Adapter A and select 'properties'
2. Now select the 'Advanced Tab' located accross the top
3. You should now be seeing all your internet sharing options.
Just tick on and off the boxes as you like.. You can choose to share your interent or stop it.
IM positive once you have your ICS (internet connection sharing) setup Linkboks will work fine..

Ok..
All that is wrong is your DASHBOARD DNS settings are not correct..
So do this..
Go into your evox settings.. 'systems settins' and edit your dns servers.
Make them match your pc that is connect to the internet.
Just do a IP CONFIG like i mentioned before to get your dns server info.
hope that does it for you.. I just tested it and working fine on my end..
Actually browsing through xbox-hq.com using 'linksboks' not bad.. Dont think it has keyboard/mouse support though yet.. Have to plug in the trusty usb keyboard.

hi xwinner,
It makes no difference what connection you have to the internet mate..
You can still turn on internet connection sharing and setup your xbox ip address and dns to match your PC's range!
Under Windows xp, 2000 you will have to go into the NETWORK CONNECTIONS page and then select the network card (nic card) that is connected to the internet and right click choose 'properties'..
Once it comes up you should have tabs across the top of the window.
You want to choose the 'ADVANCED' tab. On the ADVANCED TAB Screen you want to Turn on the tick box under 'ENABLE INTERNET CONNECTION SHARING'..
I've done everything mentioned in the above posts and I STILL can not get Linksboks to work on my Xbox. What else could I possibly have to do to make it work? I made sure that all the IP addresses matched and that I set up a shared internet connection. So what else could I do to make it work?

Whats your setup? Is your box pluged into a router or connected to your pc via a crossover cable? _________________
