Can Someone Please help me, ive been trying for a few weeks now but i cant seem to be able to get the files needed to softmod my xbox through Mechassault, so could someone give me a link or send me the file please.

http://www.xbox-linux.org/wiki/Download < its near the bottem but if i were you i would look around the site and this site. research things before you dive into it all, look up clock looping. But i've never done a softmod, i had xbl when i ordered my chip, so i don't really know what your getting into.
P.S the site loads very slow

I have xbox live, so would i still be able to softmod? Because Linux doesnt work with Live.

well i have tons of people on m friends list that have softmods so obviously there is a way to have both, so if anyone knows could you help please

All I know is when i just boot my xbox with the game in it already, xbox live works.

latest version 3.0 (VIP access) HERE also available on the VIP ftp servers on Xbox-HQ
included with AID via torrent HERE

heres some more unsorted torrents HERE
booting a softmodded Xbox with a game bypasses the softmod i beleive, but in doing so you risk getting hit by the banning stick. best method would be to remove softmod before playing on LIVE
