Posted: Fri Jun 11, 2004 11:42 pm Post subject: Help! I Still Can't Get Xecuter 2.3B Lite + Working!
Trying to install X2.3BLite+ on Halo Xbox.. not sure of version... maybe v1.4. I've already succesfully installed one in my older Xbox, maybe a v1.3.
I cannot get all three LEDs to light at the same time. I cleaned traces with fibreglass brush. The modchip doesn't feel like it seats as well as on the other Xbox and can be difficult to get blue LEDs to light. There is a little cube shaped gizmo on this motherboard that prevents me from aligning the modchip exactly like the other Xbox and like the photos on TeamXecuter's website (that is, the modchip on the older xbox is not exactly parallel to the edge of the motherboard). When the blue LEDs do light, I try moving the chip to see if I can get green LED to light... what typically happens is the blues go out, then the green comes on. One time, I did manage to get all 3 lit, but before I could tighten it down, green went out (I tried it anyway, but it didn't work).
Is it possible that I could have damaged the D0 point while scooting the D0 point across the motherboard? Could this explain it? Would Xbox still work normally if D0 trace is damaged?
I'm VERY frustrated! Any suggestions, guys?

You should submit a VIP ticket. One of the other admins that have Xecuter experience will get back to you quicker via the ticket than a post. Sometimes they miss the posts, but the tickets get first glance.
There are some members here that have chipped the Halo box, so some help will be coming soon. You're sure it wasn't a 1.6 xbox though, right. Because nobody has successfully chipped one of those yet. But, I am sure you probably knew that already. It has a Focus chip, which I think Xcalibur replaced, if I'm reading the photos correctly? How do you submit a ticket?

I believe that the Halo xbox's were only version 1.4 and 1.5, not 1.6. So you should be correct there.
I agree with realmccloy as I havent played with one of the halo xboxs myslef, you should submit a VIP ticket.
