I've got a weird problem, and I'm not sure if this is the right forum for it, but here goes.

I've got my games stored on the HDD (80GB). I can play the games with no problem. My problem is that my Halo2 games won't save past the point when I installed the game into the HDD. Halo2 is also the only game that seems to have this issue, because the rest of them have no problems saving except for Halo2. I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue, and what can I do to fix it. Thanks in advance.

That is one that I have yet to hear, but what I would do is maybe get Xbox Saves manager and extract the Halo 2 game save. Or, just go in the MS Dash and go into the memory management and delete your halo gamesaves.

Then, start fresh and see if all is okay.

The reason I would use Xbox Saves is this way you can extract the save and put it on your PC HD to see if all works after you remove it. If not, and it turns out to be something else, at least you still have the gamesave.

I might have to try wiping the gamesave out, though I'm sure that'll piss off a few people around here that play Halo2... Oh well, my XBOX, not theirs.

As for accessing MSDash, it seems that I can't access the dashboard since I installed the 80GB drive and replaced EvoX for UnleashX.

That's another thread altogether, but I'll tell you about it here. It seems as if I somehow installed UnleashX to C as a dash, but the UnleashX dash I installed to E is the only one that's ever booted. The only reason I discovered that I have UnleashX in C is because XBMC boots to the C dash and not the E dash for some reason when I tell it to go to the dashboard (pressing the right thumbstick, then selecting Dashboard).

I know it's not a weird side effect of SID because I had my softmod done with a 007:AUF hack that came with an old EvoX dash and lTools as the softmod installer, so it must have something I did when I replaced my EvoX dash with UnleashX after the 80GB HDD install. I've never seen the need to redo this since I carry a motto of "If it isn't broke, don't fix it".

That's a strange one in and of itself, but I haven't looked too much into it since the XBOX boots anyway and UnleashX has a gamesave manager built-in. But back to the root of the problem, I'll wipe the Halo2 saves and see if that works. Thanks MG.
