I am trying to get the cheats to work for the Simpson's Hit and Run game for my 10 year old son but I hold the left and right trigger at the options screen and enter the code, such as: X, X, X ,Y use the horn to jump, but it doesn't work. I tried another such as: Y, Y, X, X instant explosion, but still nothing. What am I doing wrong. Should I do this at the start of the game and choose options and then go to one of the sub option screens or simply do it when options is flashing. I tried both but it doesn't work. I also tried entering the options screen while the game is underway which is a different screen but it doesn't work there either. Maybe you could give me a detailed list of what to do. A cheats for dummies if you will.
