Allright im definately a newby and it is driving me crazy the fact that my xbox has taken almost 4 1/2 months to get it moded and it still doesnt work now when I download the evox bios first off which ones do I download and second what the heck do I do with a .rar file i thought it was supposed to be .bin please help me because right now I own a $350 door stop thanks

Hey man, glad you finally got your machine. The extension that you mention .rar, is similar to a .zip. All you have to do is download a free utility to unzip it.
I use ZipGenius, but you can use WinRar or whatever else you can get your hands on. Everyone has their preferences, but the end result is the same. I am not sure what we have in our download section, but here is a link for you if to further help you:

You will need to unzip or unrar the downloaded file.. (its compressed and made smaller)...Once you unzip/unrar it you will have your .BIN file that you need.

Just as a side note, the serve was not allowing us to host .bin files. So we will be rar'ing the remaining files listed as .bin so everyone can download them. All you'll have to do is unrar them with winrar or the program of your preference and you'll be good to go. _________________ XBOX v1.0:

ok this is really starting to piss me off the disk worked but now I cant ftp into the xbox I'm using flash fxp and going through a linksystem routerand it wont connect please help

Whats the problem? Its hard to tell with you getting pissed off..
So you have burnt the Evox Auto Installer on a Disc have you?
Have you install the EVOX Dashboard yet?
you will have to setup your XBOX NETWORK using the evox menu settings.
when you xbox boots you can go into 'SYSTEM SETTINGS' and then setup your home network.. E.g. Give your xbox a STATIC IP address. Something like 192.168.0.2 with a subnet of 255.255.255.0..
This would mean your pc has to have a ip range of 192.168.0.1 on the same subnet..
