I got the chip to work but only with the usb connector attached when I disconnect the chip does not function, any ideas on what th problem is?

I have a version 1.4 box and executor 2 bios.

Hey I have an X-BIT modchip also and it programs fine (usb throguh the computer) but my xbox when trying to boot up it goes in that safe mod thing where it resets its self (bad or no bios installed).

I have a 1.0v
