Hello, I installed the spiderchip v1.0 to an XBOX v1.6
The Enhanced Cromwell Bios appeared upon startup.
I chose to unlock the HD thinking it would benifit me later on.
I used the Xecuter 4389 bios to flash the chip.( because the instructions said use any bios you want)
When the reboot process finished the XBox would not reboot.
The XBOX would start and stop a few times then displayed
an error screen telling me the XBOX needs service.
Obviously I did a bad flash.
The error code at the top left of the screen was 05 which I believe is for the HD.
I purchased the Spiderchip Programmer, however it did not come with connection instructions, or any instructions.
Also I believe I'll need the Enhanced Cromwell Bios to
Reflash the chip and relock the HD.
The trouble is I don't know where to find the Cromwell Bios, or the instructions I'll need to put everything back to
where I started.
Can you offer any suggestions?
I'm thinking I should have just purchased another Spiderchip and reversed my steps.
Can anyone help?

hi slautterback and welcome to hQ!
Its no big deal mate.. We have all done a bad flash before.. Hopefully the spiderchip is very simple to flash via the pc and a flashing cable of somesort..
Since you have the programmer i would just go looking for some tutorials or others from the website who may have used the programmer.. Contact some guys via pm and see if they can assist you.. Im sure they will.
ILl have a hunt around now for you but i would say its best to flash a EVOX M8 bios onto your spiderchip.. Dont even bother looking for th cromwell bios again you wont need it..
Once you get your modchip (spiderchip) flashed with the evox M8 bios using your programmer you will be ready to roll again..
Dont forget.. There are 2 x M8 Bioses.. 1 is for v1.0-v1.5 xboxes and the other is for v1.6 xboxes.. Make sure you get the right one for your xbox..
anyway, back soon.. Just going to try and hunt down some info for you.
All bioses can be found in our VIP Downloads section or on the VIP SERVERS..
They have alot of different information about your modchip so i dont think you will have too much difficulty getting your xbox back up and running mate.. (thankgod).

The Sunday Chip Install Guide is 7 or 8 MB and is available http://www.clevermod.com/files/scgb29.pdf here. It's 26 pages and I try to cover eveything. I don't want to hijack this guy's thread though, but I have postings in the Sunday Chip section regarding where to find help files and the Sunday tools.
