thank you forahobby for responding but like I said I have a lot dgenx roms I got them all from the same place some work but most don't all you see is a black screen. I read at xbox-scene that dgenx doesn't work if MSdashboard is set at widescreen but I can't get to my MsDashboard to change it is this even true? All I know is I can't play any of my Sonic the Hedgehog roms which sucks and I am looking for a solution.

put it this way. I have a HD widescreen projector which i play my xbox on.
I played sonic the hedgehog on widescreen no probs here but i have a ALL PAL setup..?
Not exactly sure.. What bios are you running (not that it will make much difference)..
I can shoot you my sonic file if you want to try that??

Just as i thought.. Works like a charm with any of the sonic games..
I have my M$ Dashboard set to WIDESCREEN and its fine.
Please remember i have a PAL xbox.. well its in PAL mode.. eheheh
