The official website has been pulled until May 10th. I would imagine they are doing this to coincide with E3. Maybe we will get some more definitive answers on the machine and when it will grace retail stores around the world. From what I have gathered, anyone who wants to Beta test this machine had to email them already, but I am not 100% sure. One thing that I am curious to though is how will you obtain games. It seems as though games will be played online, like a download of some sort. But, what throws me off is they are talking about generating money two ways. First through subscriptions and also through advertising. Meaning, you will have to deal with Ads while playing. I would imagine during cut scenes, loading times, things of that nature. In addition they are saying that as interest and sales increase they will reduce or eliminate subscription fees. So that leaves me pondering how games will be distributed. From the picture I can't see a CD tray. Here is some data I copied from their site prior to it going down:

Oh yeah, it will have a 2Ghz to 3Ghz processor and a built in cable/dsl modem for direct broadband connection.
Here is a report from CNN about it..way back in August..man, I can't believe I didn't hear about this puppy sooner. It definitely looks like it's too late to be a Beta tester in the states, however our friends down under still have a crack at it!! And, there is definitely no CD tray. All content is purchased online and downloaded to hard drive.

Yeah it sounds like you will have to download the games off the net for of course a small fee. Or join some sort of club online to get your Fix for that console. have to wait and see how E3 plays out then get more news on that.
