I have been trying to install a spider and a xenium ice solderless for my xbox. I tried the spider first, it worked for a while, and then it stopped working and I couldnt get it to work even when I pressed down the chip myself. The box just fragged. And then I tried the xenium. It doesnt work either even when being pressed down. The LED is always RED and the box frags. I'm quite sure I have the alignment correct. The box works fine without the chip.

I seriously think there is something messed up with my LPC holes. I did some connectivity testing and found out that hole 2, 6, 12, and the metal case are connected. It's kinda weird. Also 15 and 9 are connected. The rests are not. Can anyone test to see if it's the same on their box for me? Does anyone know any way to tell if there's anything wrong with the LPC holes and how to fix it?

The numbering of the LPC holes is:
16 15
14 13
12 11
10 9
8 7
6 5
- 3
2 1

Thanks a lot.
My box is 1.2-1.4
Btw, I dont think I have damaged any traces on the board.

This is actually not rare. I have received a lot of machines in the last several months from customers who have tried solderless solutions only to booger up the LPC area...especially the spider chip. They seem to booger up the D0 area the most with that chip...dunno why since I never even bothered to look at that chip.

All of my machines have soldered pin headers, but hopefully someone can give you those readings that you are wanting.
