Well my xbox is modded (mech) and i have Avalaunch installed with Apps.Emu,ETC......Everything is working fine (BUT!!!!!) When i go to the quit to msdash...it wont go..it highlights like you can click it but nothing happens...now it doesnt lock up or anything just like it wont click...any suggestions...i already tried other dahboards and the same thing happens....not a big deal but would like the option to go to the dash as well

You have to edit your evox.ini to point to the right .xbe file

you can cheat by copying your xbox dash from your c:\ drive
and put it in a folder called ms dash in your e:\apps, rename the .xbe file that launches it
( you can easy work out which one it is as you can launch ms dash
by clicking on the xboxdash.xbe ) rename it to default.xbe.
then when you reboot your xbox you will now be able to launch
ms dash from your apps.
if your wondring what files you need to copy from your c:\
just get Audio, Fonts, xboxdashdata & xodash folders
and also the xbox.xtf, xbox book.xtf, settings_adoc.xip and the
previuosly mentioned .xbe
it may work with less than this but, I`ve never given it any more time
once up and running again.

Just patch the Ms5290 or whatever the number is in the SID menu, and then everything will work fine! _________________ Blue Chaos

and re did the whole xbox (mech assault) softmod and everything is great now...again thank you for taking the time to answer my question in a direct manner...i really appreciate it...my hat off to you
