hi

i have successfully installed linux on my xbox, using a spiderchip.

I cannot play any games now, copies or originals

is there anything i can do?

reflash the chip

why did you flash it with linux bios?

if you can run the autoinstaller then you can use it to reflash the chip

what version is your xbox?

i made a king sized mistake and flashed using the cromwell bios....now im stuffed.....im usin the xebian linux disc.

You can fix that mistake Smile dont worry.
You can use the raincoat software that you can find on xbox linux page.
http://www.xbox-linux.org/Download

Use that to flash a evox bios onto your chip and it would work just fine.

You might have to twist the raincoat.cnf a bit.

Just add
Flash = 0xbf,"spider chip",0x40000
Flash = 0xbe,"spider chip",0x40000

One of them works, I dont remember which so just add both of them Very Happy
Best way to do is to add the whole folder to your xebian CD, boot it up, flash the bios and you'll done. Just dont forget to use evox instead Very Happy
Let me know if you cant still fix it
