Let me know if you need any different information. This is going to be a lot for you to take in, but it should help.
Your dash needs to be installed to C drive.... the easiest way is by an installer.

YOu can install anything through FTP to your HD...
Anything. But why woulld you want to go though the hassle of manually preparing the HD through FTP, most likely having to muck with the dashboards .ini file so it is configured to your manual setup and then manually install programs...
Use an installer. Dude, it's so much easier. You put one disk in and it does everything.
Formats your HD if needed
Prepares your partitions
Installs EvoX correctly according to your setup.
Install all applications
installs emulators
Locks and unlocks your HD
Its the tits man!
