I just modded my 1.6 xbox with a xecuter 2.6. It comes up to cromwell and I made a bios cd with the 1mb M8 + and when it reads the disc, it picks up the name of the cd ( Bios) but cannot find any bioses. This is the first M8 I am tring to use, I usually use an excuter, but this is what I need for the 1.6 to work
I download bios pack 2.0, I am using cdrw media right now, I wont have a Cd-r disc until tomorrow.

The 2.6 has two 512k banks. You need to change you bios image size...Once you have your 512 the easiest way is to enable flash by http. Has worked for every v2.6 and v3ce I have done..Also make sure your flash protect is turned off. _________________ Xbox v1.3

also use m8plus16 bios not just m8
i dont know maybe they got some new version now but make sure it has the 16 in the name ,

I got it to load, I had to pull the bin file out of the iso and then burn the bin file. and used 512k.evox.m8plus.v16.fc.137
I used the slayer 2.6 install cd. in the dash it will not let me launch any apps, it just seems to lock up, I also loaded avaluanch and updated all teh apps but none will load any ideas
on the boot screen it says evox and microsoft in the normal spot with the chip on
