Please Help!
I had installed an X-ecutor 2.2 Pro on my box. Flashed the bios & installed evolutionX. When the dipswitch #3 is on and i have the chip turned on everything works great. But when i disable the chip to try and play a Regular game I get an error message saying that My system requires service with a 16 in the top left hand corner? I think the dipswitches may not have been set right when I flashed the bios originally and maybe I overwrote the original bios? Someone please help me because I'm trying to hook it up to my wireless network with a linksys router and the MN-740 Xbox wireless adapter, But i must enter the original dashboard to configure it & I cant because of the error?

hi johhnyd34,

Well, sounds to me like you need to link to your normal dashboard from the evox screen..

FTP into your xbox and open your evox.ini which is normally on your c:\ drive on your xbox HD.. Make sure it points to msxboxdash.xbe or whatever you called the M$ dash when installing evox the first time.

* Just make sure the M$ Dashboard is linked correctly..

WHEN YOUR CHIP IS TURNED OFF: (error 16)
Have you upgraded your HARD DRIVE??

If you have upgraded your XBOX HD you will need to lock the HARD DRIVE using 'config magic' (slayers auto installer) to get rid of the ERROR 16 YOUR XBOX REQUIRES SERVICE

btw.. do some searching on e13 or error13.. You may find the information already exists in the forums..

search here:

I would also suggest getting a copy of slayers auto installer as it can always rebuild your xbox at the click of the xbox controller and also formats, partitions and installs the whole dashboard etc automatically.

hope that helps mate.
