I already posted this in the VIP forum, but maybe this is a better place to get answers. thanks.

I have UnleashX installed on my xbox fromm the autoinstaller deluxe. I went into the settings to try and change the background "ambient" sound, so when I had the menu open, it would play a music file I downloaded as the ambient sound. I couldn't seem to get it work, so I just reset it to "ENGINEROOM", but the now is that even after changing that back and restarting the xbox, now I don't get any ambient sounds. When it goes to screensaver, it's also stopped making the "clicking" noise when the screen saver text hits the edges of the screen. These are the only changes noted. If anyone knows how to change this, answer here asap. I'm getting a little frustrated with something that should seem so simple. thanks.

Ok, by going into the settings and audio/music menu, I was able to get the sound back by changing the music to no. I am still wondering how to get a cd track as the background music. I noticed all the files for background music are in .wav format. When I download music to the hard drive it is in mp3. I am able to change it to .wav by just changing the name, so I can at least get it to recognize the file, but it won't play. Will I have to get a wav file of music to make it work? thanks again
