goldeneye always worked fine on ultraxle, but does this new surreal run quake 64? i hope so!

I just switched to the XXX edition of Surreal as well, and I have to say that I didn't know a difference between it and the older version.
Many games are still unplayable (when you can even find the rom for them for download), and those that are often have texture issues, lagging, or not-so-random crash issues (like every time you load a certin area).
I'm actually surprised that there hasn't been a better emulator in all this time.

It works fine for me! You just have to edit the ini file to look for roms in the right place, default is the DVD drive. I had to change mine to f/apps/emulators/surrealxxx/roms/ _________________ LED Rings $6 (doesnt include LEDs) LED ring pic

ive gitten the Roms to work on Sorreal64 when i switched bios from the xecuter to the M8 bios....But there were still some texture issues with some games... i give up until the come up with a minimal bug emulator for this emu , its a pain in the ass
What i dont unferstand is the PCSx (playstation 1 emu) Works flawlessly , i even played import games with translation patches that ran great , a little buggy but nothing too disturbing

I still have no problems with Surreal XXX. All 258 roms work fine! I have just downloaded a 4.4 gig N64 Roms disc, with all types of versions, I will let you guys know how they work out. _________________ LED Rings $6 (doesnt include LEDs) LED ring pic

so when I change the ini file to look for the roms in a different spiot this should fix all the other roms thats are not working? For example, I can get various other games such as lets say Doom 64 to work, but RE 2 will not work at all...then with Conkers I can get it to work, but it will be missing graphics on it...if I adjust the ini to look fo rthe roms in this spot suggested will it have any affect on my already working roms? If not then how to I adjust the ini, to look in the right spot?

I dont think I said all that ... changing the path just finds the roms. It sounds like you are having the country version problem. if the file name has a:
u - its US format
j - Jap format
& there are a few others

I have that same rom pack jiggy...
I threw some roms in the roms folder and the regular surreal64 didn't even list them..

ModGod- I used the newest Surreal & it was the first time I have played N64 since highschool, maybe even middleschool. Rom pack? I think they are the same N64 Roms you had lent me, or are you talking about the Mameox .90 rom pack? All roms should work with the newest SurealXXX
ModGod, maybe you just have to change your rom path in the Sureal.ini file from D:\Roms\ to F:\Apps\Emulators\SurealXX\Roms _________________ LED Rings $6 (doesnt include LEDs) LED ring pic
