ok so here's the recap
- xbox started acting strange and was occasionally giving me error code 7
- the problem was thought to be one folder on the hdd since the rest of it worked fine so i tried formatting that partition
- that didn't work and eventually i started getting error code 16
- the hdd is dead so i got a new one and installed it
- got aid10 and burned the small version to a CD-RW (following the instructions in another thread on here for Nero AND extracting the iso and burning the files)
what's happening now
- i can't get the autoinstaller disc to work no matter how i burn it
- i get error code 16 whenever i turn the box on
is there something i need to do with the chip to set everthing back to zero (i just took out the nerfed drive and thought i could throw another one in there and set it up.
