where do you put mp3s so when you play games, you can select them?

u cant play mp3's in games they only play in XBMP, to listen to music in games u have to rip them to the xbox hard drive off cd... or u can get a program that lets you ftp songs onto the hard drive but they have to be wma files first... so u need a converter.... very confusing stuff

Yes you must use XBMP to play mp3s... If you want to change the game audio you must copy onto CDRW in normal CD-ROM AUDIO format and copy using the original dashboard to the HARD DISK..
Then you can choose what songs to play on what game..

does any1 no the specs for wma on the xbox? (sorry if im talkin out me arse what i mean is mp3s are say 192kbs 44khz 16bit Stereo, or what ever u want.) Do the wma's have to have any perticular settings?
I've never encoded a wma before so don't actualy no if u get any options?
dont suposse some1 fancys noking up a guide? i'v got 50 odd albums worth of mp3s, convertings bad enuff, burn burning as audio + ripping would take years

do a google search for mp3 to wma converter and u can get a good program where u just right click on the mp3 then click "quickly convert" which it does next to the mp3 file... i cant remember the name of the program plus it only lasts 15 days and i couldnt find a crack

Use a program called Musicmatch Jukebox. It does everything for you including burn the disc, convert you name it, and it's very quick. _________________ Lefe's too short,

this doesnt belong here i dont think but i just got brand spankin' new surround sound with a coaxial and fibre optic input and i wanted to find out more about the good games and if anyone knows where to get a cheap cable etc..... cheers
