i have surreal64 running fine and everything but i can't get any of the roms to load into the play list. i changed the surreal ini and the ultra ini both to E:\apps\surreal64\roms. i created that folder and put the roms in it but they still don't show up when i try to play them. any ideas? thanks

I have never gotten Sureal64 to work either. It will pull up the roms & show pics for each game but will not load the roms.
Any suggestions appreciated. _________________ LED Rings $6 (doesnt include LEDs) LED ring pic

i didn't change any ini's or anything, just created a /roms in the surreal64 folder. did you unzip the roms before you added them? when you do get the games to finally show, ALOT of them are buggy and freeze. thats why surreal has 3 emu's in it, try a different one of the emulators. if all three don't work, try another version of the game, h1, ! , j1, h2 etc

I can't get surreal64 to see any of my n64 roms either. changed path in ini to f:\emulators\surreal64\roms and nuttin. unzipped the roms - nuttin. Left the default of d:\roms - nuttin. Tried the newest version of surreal64 - nuttin.
Previous version of surreal64 said to edit the rom path in the ini (based on nfo file) - didn't work then, doesn't work now.
Anyone have any ideas??

if the rom paths are correct...I dont know, but i just realized only A & B work in Surreal, X & Y do not!
So if you are wanting to play a 4 button game (which most n64 are) you arent missing much _________________ LED Rings $6 (doesnt include LEDs) LED ring pic

I had the same problem. I fixed it by putting the roms in: F\Games\roms
I have about 8 or 9 in there and only Zelda plays right! but they are all there.
that was the defualt settings, I didn't have to change any INI files.
I've noticed a lot of roms not working, maybe that's the only problem.
If you can see them, they should be in the right place.
My xbox games are on E\games folder,, but.... N64 roms had to go on F\games\roms
check it out
good luck

I know it's a late response but as to your not seeing the roms, click the refresh button. Its the little bent arrow. If your roms are in the right path they will show. _________________ XBOX v1.6:
