Crap, here's the issue. I upgraded the XBMC from here last night to the newest version. Everything seems to work just great EXCEPT the damn shoutcast. It says something about invalid url when I try to refresh the stations and locks up the Xbox if I try to force an update. Right now, they are just blank folders (about 50 of them.... sheesh). Interestingly enough, my XBMP will shoutcast just fine. I tried to overwrite XBMC again to allow for any issues during the upgrade via FLashFXP to the Xbox and everything shows as transferred fine. What the h*ll did I hose? Shocked

Embarassed I got it. Yet again another victim of overwriting rather than a clean install. Ripped everything out and reinstalled a clean XBMC and vrooom.
Only thing I can say to myself is... DUH!

Look I have my own running issue asking and answering myself. Rolling Eyes

Here we go again. I used the auto installer, formatted my drive and installed all sorts of toys. XBMC is one of them and is the version prior to 1/02/05 cvs build. The shoutcast top 500 came up blank. Now in reading the news currently posted on our front page, it states "FIXED:* scan of the shoutcast top 500 directory was possible using the context menu". So is this something that others were experiencing too?
