ok guys I feel really stupid about this but I accidentally deleted my eeprom data!!! I don't know what I was thinking it was a total blond moment(I don't have blonde hair though) but I need new eeprom data if you can give me links to a eeprom backup(I think mines a 1.1 so a 1.1 to 1.5 should work with mine) I don't care about the games on the HDD right now I just want to save the xbox from being a a paper weight!!! so if you have any links to a xbox eeprom.bin or if you could upload one(torrent or something) it would really help I'm ordering a xbox eeprom reader/writer so I'll have the thing to write a new eeprom to it.
thankfully from this the chip shouldn't of taken any physcal damage so I can still use it right...?

If you can still boot AID you can use it to make a new eeprom back up, the eeprom is unique to each xbox and is not something you can get from some other xbox.
The eeprom is the hdd locking code and since your xbox is chipped you really don't need to lock the hdd at all.

its not chipped it was soft modded by the original owner then sold to someone else who said it was chipped when I opened it up it wasnt.
I hope thats not the only way to fix this.
but read the compatibility part of this(http://wiki-scene.com/EEPROM_(Xbox)) according to this as long as its the same model of xbox another eeprom will work(well the stuff thats on it) so if I get the eeprom back-up from another xbox as long as its the same model it should work if not I'll have to look into getting this chipped.
oh I was looking at xbox mod chips I'm looking at the xecuter3 mod chip.
but I can't find a store with it! are there still places that sell them online?
