and i want to know what choices do i have on turning my modchip on and off so i will not get banned from xboxlive can i install a switch or when i switch to msdashboard its off and if thats the case why all the talk about getting banned

Davey, does your X2.6 not have an external switch that lets you turn it off and on? I looked on TeamXecuter's website... they only had photos of the X2.3 series, not X2.6... but the photos of all three models, lite, lite+, and pro, show the external switch.
As far as I know, just because the M$dash is running doesn't necessarily mean the chip is off. Hopefully you have the external switch... green=chip on, red=chip off. _________________ The World's Most Awesome Xbox 360 Room

I too was under the belief that the X26's had to also have an external switch installed to disable the chip for XBL play.
Can anyone else confirm??

Yep .....the X 2.6 does or should i say should have an external switch bank to disable it for live play
