I'm having some problems ftping with my xbox to my ocmputer for some reason. I set up everything like the tutorials said (i have a router), and it still won't work. It has no connection because it can't ping the xbox, so does anyone have a suggestion? Does the computer have to be connected with a wire, or can it be wirelessly connected to my router?

Okay first things first....what kind of router do you have? Also are you using a program like flashfxp? What type of internet connection do you have? These are very important answers so please be specific. Hopefully we can have you up and ftping your xbox in no time.

The router is a netgear WGR614 v7, yeah im using flashfxp, and what do you mean by type of internet connection? DSL?

Yes is your internet connection dsl? What does it do when you pull up fxp and try to quick connect to your xbox?

Okay and your xbox is hooked up through your router? Also what kind of program do you have running on your xbox now? Avalaunch or some other dashboard?
