hey what's up. i just got my first chipped xbox working with XBMC and evox and i've got to say that XBMC dash is damn impressive. anyway i backed up forza to my hard drive and it's nearly impossible to play because of the dead-zone on my controller. i've searched everywhere trying to find any info that even acknowledged a dead-zone on the xbox but came up with absolutely nothing.
my questions are: is the xbox supposed to have a (huge) dead-zone? does the xbox controll the size of the dead zone or is it the controller?
btw i have some cheap off-brand controller, so maybe that's it?

Yes please explain this dead zone, i have no idea what that is. _________________
Yeah, its probably your controller. I have the same problem with a cheap third party controller, nowhere near as accurate as the official one....Unfortunatly theres no way for the XBox to compensate for this, you`ll just have to get another one. _________________

Dont look like a bad deal like you said its just a few bucks but the one catch i got is its not for vista.
I still just run the hell out of my linksys router, good ol 2.2 with the thibor 15c firmware so i can run my kai right off it and not need to even have a pc turnd on.
Might be able to turn a quick buck of them with the folks i do PC repairs for.
