I have 4 hdds that were locked on different xboxs. (3 on 1 and 1 on the other). The idea here is that i want to use one of these hdd on a new xbox and the other 3 on a computer. I am building a new 1.6 xbox (which i need to use one of these hdd in) with an executer 2.6ce. Can i use this xbox to unlock the 4 hdd? If so how? I couldnt seem to get it to work when i tried to unlock using my spiderchip (another xbox i have) and slayers 2.7final, I also tried using AID 3. I don't know what to do from here. Any help would be greatly appreciated. A small walkthrough tut would be awesome! I am really frustrated at this point....so.
I should let you know that 3 of the hdd were locked on a now dead mobo. The other is locked on a xbox that i don't have a modchip or softmod on anymore so unfortunately cannot use original xboxs to unlock. ALL HDD should be locked using CONFIG MAGIC so they should have a master pass....tried using xboxhdm but couldnt figure out how to get the password to work....didn't know commands....

The problem is i don't have access to the mobo that died. It was sold to a guy. He said he could fix it so i sold it. Then i moved. No way to get it back now any other ideas?! i have one modded xbox (1.6 with a spiderchip) a 1.1 retail, and another 1.6 in the process of being built (it will be modded with the xecuter 2.6ce)

Here of course is my downfall. I didn't make a backup of the eeprom it seems . I have the master password to the hdd, just don't know how to use that to unlock them . I made a backup of everything that was on my drives, but for some reason it didnt get an eeprom read.

I was just needing a tutorial on how to unlock a hdd using a master password. I have tried to understand some of them but i am not familiar with the commands to use in linux and therefore am stuck. The master pass is teamassembly as i used config magic to lock all the drives. So if anyone can tell me how to just use that master pass to unlock these drives i will be eternally grateful. I am not sure whether i do it in a xbox with a hot swap, or in a pc using a boot disk, or both. Sry first time i have really done this. The last post was very helpful thank you, but still stuck (will keep that in mind)
