I am tring to softmod my xbox with 5.0 and have tried it with splintercell platnium and mechassault and it won`t work. on splintercell it freezes up when i click checkpoints. and on mechassault it goes black and the button turns orange . i have even tried other versions of the softmods. i use a hipgear memory card 8mb.can i get some help thanks

ok mechassault is one of the hardest games to find this isn't patched. splinter cell 1 platinum is a good choice.
It might be the 3rd party memory card, check our memory card database to see if anyone has said anything about it.

i used 007 auf and had the same problem it was the save game i was using was too old but when i tryed the save game from the aid disk it worked fine.
