ok my xbox is screwed up. i had evox as dash. thats not the problem. live stoped working. so i tried to restore the xbox to its origanal state to see if that would work. it went through the process of it and said done and then i turned it on and black screen popped up saying error. i had mimesis v3. and halo 2 on my hd. i had killer maps and mods and i want to fix it. i read that a chip could fix it anyways so we took the xbox apart and then we stoped. can someone please help me. also if u know why xbox live stoped working let me know. i was able to play it before and i cant now. i had mods and was banned from matchmaking but i was able to play with friends and things like that. other online games worked but not that. anyways what should i do. i want to get a chip but what chip should i get? i have a 1.0 version xbox. my dad can solder but he doesnt have the tools to do a surface mount. should i get a solderless. i want to add things to the xbox to. also does the chips have a led light on it cuz that is cool. i had softmods but u probobly figured that out. is the chip the way to go? thanks to thouse who help me.
