I installed the xecuter 3 ce using the wireless xaptr device. I had some problems during the install. The leds on the xaptr will illuminate and the Xecuter 3 leds illuminate as well. The problem is I can't get the bios screen on the monitor. I press the power button per the instruction and the eject button turns solid green for about 10-15 seconds then solid orange. I am not sure what this means. This problem is consistent across all of the banks selected. I have been researching this problem for three days. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also the xbox will boot normal when holding the power button for more than a second.

If your chip is powering up correctly check your flash protection switch. It should be in the off position. The other switches ( 1, 2 , 3, 4) should be set on on off off respectively. FlashBios should boot from the chip and you will be able to load the bios of your choice. _________________ Xenium Ice 2.3.1 OS

Hmm i been installing x3-ces for a little bit now but never used the sodderless adapter yet im not sure how it works but are u just taping the power button if not it wont go to the x3 blue screen u can also just hit the eject button to it should go right to it. if not recheck the sodderless adapter one of the wires might not be touching good enough or something. _________________ The one the only Scarface!!

push the Power NOT eject... and the X on the dipswitch panel should be BLUE. then it will go to the flashbios screen, and if that doesnt work press both power and eject and the dipswitch panel will be PURPLE.. that will be the "back-up" bios. also make sure the "RED" led on the Xapt3r is lighting up.. _________________ (2) XBOX v1.4:

I thought the orange led is a video problem... use another set of COMPOSITE
cables. If you are using HI DEF set it can give you probs when setting up a new X3.
